I seriously don't take praise to my heart or to my head. I only want to work harder and never get complacent.

I've never made a plan for my life. I have just taken whatever opportunities have come and been very genuine with them.

My relationship with Salman Khan is too personal to talk about. I take my work like any other regular job, and what I do in my personal life is no one's business. I'd rather let my work do all the talking.

There was a time when I feel that I need to take time to know more about the industry, the workings of it. I was doing my modeling, which I really wanted to do at the time. So that’s why even my entry into films was later than people expected.

Actually even at the beginning of my career, I never felt rejected. I was still working hard and believed in myself. I wasn’t in a hurry and was picking and choosing projects carefully even then when I was just a newcomer. My attitude towards films hasn’t changed even after these years.

It’s been great. I’ve been very lucky to work with more experienced actors early on in my career because I get a chance to learn from them. There is so much you can learn from them. You can just follow them and you’ll be pretty safe.

I had a wonderful holiday, a wonderful New Year and it was very special. That’s all you’re getting out of me.
